Evelina F. Pietruschka was the President Director of WanaArtha Life from 1999 to 2011. in March 2011 she was appointed as President Commissioner of WanaArtha Life. Her roles and achievements in the Life Insurance Industry in Indonesia is unquestionable. She has been appointed to chair several important positions within the Indonesian Insurance Industry. In 2001 she was elected as Vice Chairman of Indonesia's Insurance Board (DAI) and then elected in 2002 as Chairman of that organisation. In 2005 she was appointed as Chairman of Indonesia's Life Assurance Association (AAJI) then reappointed for a second term (2008- 2011) as Chairman to this prestigious organisation.
During her tenure as Chairman of AAJI , she was also entrusted with another prestigious position chairing the Federation of Indonesia Insurance Association (FAPI) from 2007 until 2008. FAPI is the parent of the National Insurance Association of Indonesia. On an ASEAN level she has actively participated as a member of the ASEAN Insurance Council (AIC) and chaired the ASEAN Committee for Insurance Education from 2006-2011. In December 2011 she was appointed to be the Secretary General of the ASEAN Insurance Council.
Evelina obtained a Master's Degree from Pepperdine University, California, United States. In addition, she possesses the insurance professional degrees of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) from Singapore College of Insurance. As a result of her outstanding consistent performance she was nominated as one of the finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs programme in 2009 which is acknowledged as the International standard award for Indonesian executives. Additionally due to her contribution to the Insurance industry in ASEAN she was awarded "Personality of the Year Award 2013" by Asia Insurance Review Magazine.
Wardono Saleh has been the Commissioner of WanaArtha Life since 1993. He has more than 40 years professional experiences in the forestry field. His career in the forestry area was started in 1960, when he joined the Bogor Forestry Plantology Bureau. He was one of the top level management when he was working for PT Pan Hutan Nusantara in 1969. He was appointed as the Director of Perhutani in 1987 until he entered a retirement age in the year 1993. His knowledges and experiences in the forestry area that lead him to a senior level of management in several companies gained through his formal education education. He obtained a Bachelor Degree of Agriculture from the University of Indonesia in 1960
Muljawati Chitro has been appointed as Independent Commissioner of WanaArtha Life since July 2015. Previously, she had been served as a member of the Audit Committee since 2011. She was also a member of the Audit Committee of PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk and PT Austindo Nusantara Jaya Tbk, as well as Managing Partner in the Firm Muljawati, Rini & Partners. Prior to that, Mrs. Muljawati held a various positions in auditing as a member of the Audit Committee of PT Asuransi Bintang Tbk (2010), PT Century Textile Industry (2008), and also PT Metrodata Tbk (2003).
Following her education as a Bachelor of Economics in Accounting from University of Atma Jaya and a Master Degree from PPM Jakarta, Mrs. Muljawati has a huge passion in audit and finance industry. She holds a professional certification as a Chartered Public Accountant; which adds her credibility point so she become an audit expert and top in her field.
Ariyanti was appointed as the independent commissioner of WanaArtha Life since March 2011. She is also the Chairwoman of the Insurance Business School of Trisakti (Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Asuransi Trisakti) and the Vice Chairman of the Board Committee of the Indonesian Insurance Good Corporate Governance and still actively participated as the Evaluation Committee for all the Directors and Commissioners of Insurance Companies in Indonesia since 2007. She is a member of ISEA (Indonesian Senior Executive Association) since 2008.
Her involvement in insurance industry has been marked since she pursued her career at Bintang Insurance, Tbk in 1978. Bintang Insurance is one of the leading general insurance in Indonesia. Her dedication and loyalty towards the company has a fruitful result. In mid 1995, she was appointed as the Finance Director of Bintang Insurance, Tbk and one year after that she was trusted to lead the company as the President Director.
Her contribution to the insurance industry has made the Dewan Asuransi Indonesia (DAI) trusted her for a position as one of the Board of Committee for a five year period (1996-2001). And in 2001 up until 2006, she was the Board of Committee for the Insurance Foundation in Indonesia.
Yanes Yanes Yaneman Matulatuwa first joined WanaArtha Life as a Director of Risk Management & Corporate Actuary in November 2011. His experience in the life insurance industry in Indonesia, especially in the Actuarial field, has been acquired since he began his career in 1993.
Since last July 2014, he has been appointed with a new role as the President Director of WanaArtha Life. He graduated from the University of Indonesia with a Bachelor of Mathematics. Soon after he graduated, his career in the insurance industry as an actuary started. First he was an Actuarial Supervisor at BDNI Life Insurance. Then he was trusted by many life insurance companies in Indonesia like AIG Lippo, Sun Life Financial and Panin Life for important positions in the Actuarial field. In 2006 until 2009, he was appointed as the Chief Actuary Country AXA Services Indonesia & Appointed Actuary to AXA Financial Services Indonesia. Before joined WanaArtha Life, he served as an Associate Director, Chief Actuary and Product Development at PT CIGNA Insurance.
Yanes continuous support towards Actuarial field in Indonesia’s life insurance industry is also reflected in his active participation at The Indonesian Actuaries Association (PAI) and also participate in Task Force created by the Indonesia’s Life Insurance Association (AAJI) related to International Financial Reporting Standard especially for insurance contracts.
Daniel Halim has been joining WanaArtha Life as the Finance and Investment Director since July 2014. He has acquired more than 17 years of experience in Finance related area especially the Capital Market. Prior joining WanaArtha Life, he served as the Director of Henan Putihrai Asset Management (2012 – 2014), and various Directorate position in Asset Management Companies, including as the President Director of Kim Eng Asset Management (2008 – 2009) and President Director of PT Mega Nusantara Capital (2009 – 2012).
Various trainings and seminars had been attended by Daniel in order to equip him further with broader knowledge and expertise on the Finance and Capital Market area. With these qualifications, his expertise in Finance and Investment Area is without any doubt and will surely contribute positively to the Investment Strategy of WanaArtha Life.
Janti S Jopoetro has been appointed as one of the Board of Directors in WanaArtha Life and Chief Operating Officer since January 2016. She is a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. She was recently served as Vice President of Operation in PT AIA Financial after elected as an Operation Service Div Head. Started her career as Senior Accounting Officer in PT Asuransi Lippo Life Indonesia, Janti kept trying to boost her career in the life insurance industry. After working for years, she stepped into the world of operation as a Premium Control Dept. Head and continued her journey to Claims Dept. Head; an important section in Operation Division at PT AIG Life.
Throughout the years, she has evolved with the fast-changing financial world and has tailored her ability in accountability new product development for new business, claims, customer service, policy admin area, also developing claim system and control procedure. With more than 25 years’ experience in the life insurance industry, Janti has played a major role in the development of the industry; makes her truly understand the entire business process in life insurance.
